Insurance and reimbursement

Lighthouse Pathways is a self-pay private service. We do not bill insurers directly, but many clients successfully claim reimbursement from their private medical insurance after paying us.

Before you book

Contact your insurer and ask three specific questions: do they cover ADHD assessment for adults or children, do they reimburse self-pay invoices for non-network providers, and what evidence they require to process a claim.

What we can provide

On request, we can issue a detailed invoice showing the service provided, the clinician, and their professional registration number. We can also provide a copy of your written diagnostic report if your insurer requires clinical justification, with your explicit consent.

What we cannot do

We cannot pre-authorise treatment with your insurer, negotiate fees on your behalf, or guarantee reimbursement. Each policy is different.

Workplace and employer support

Some employers offer health benefits or wellness budgets that cover ADHD assessment. It is worth asking your HR or occupational health team. We are happy to provide an invoice formatted for employer expense systems.
