What treatment options are available?
ADHD treatment is personalised. There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Your treatment plan may include medication, psychological support, psychoeducation, lifestyle strategies, or a combination of approaches.
Medication
Stimulant or non-stimulant medication, prescribed and titrated by your clinician. Medication is the most extensively studied ADHD treatment and is effective for most people who try it.
Psychological support
Talking therapies tailored to ADHD, including cognitive behavioural therapy adapted for ADHD, ADHD coaching, and group programmes.
Psychoeducation
Structured learning about ADHD, how it shows up for you, and how to work with your brain rather than against it. We provide psychoeducation as part of every diagnostic conversation.
Lifestyle strategies
Sleep, exercise, nutrition, screen use, and routines all influence ADHD symptoms. These are not cures, but they create the conditions in which other treatments work better.
Your treatment plan is shared decision-making. You set the goals, your clinician brings the evidence, and together you choose the path forward.
